Annual Scholarship Drive

* The Penn State Club of Bucks County is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Every donation of $250 or more will receive a donation letter for tax purposes.

The One Membership model by the Penn State Alumni Association means that every current member of the Penn State Alumni Association who lives in Bucks County is automatically a member of the Penn State Club of Bucks County, known as the Penn State Alumni Association - Bucks County Chapter. It also means that the Bucks County Chapter no longer receives annual dues to support the Chapter’s scholarship program for Bucks County students.

Since 1984, the Bucks County Chapter has awarded scholarships each year to several Bucks County students entering their senior year. Those scholarships have totaled more than $300,000 during that time. The Bucks County Chapter is implementing an annual Scholarship Drive to raise funds in support of the Chapter’s scholarship program. All Penn State Alumni and friends can pay it forward by contributing to the Chapter’s scholarship fund, which has been traditionally supported by Bucks County Chapter members.

There are four levels to help support our current Penn State students:

All donors who contribute $20 or more per donor year to the annual Scholarship Drive will have their names added to the Bucks County Honor Roll for the donation year. The Honor Roll will be displayed during Chapter events and on our website.
Every donor who makes a one-time donation of $250* or more per donor year will be designated as a Blue & White Donor on the Bucks Blue & White Honor Roll for the donation year. In addition, you or your business will be featured in our newsletter which reaches approximately 19,000 Chapter alumni.
Every donor making a one-time donation of $1,000* or more per donor year also will have the benefit of creating a Nittany Lion Scholarship in that donor’s name or in honor or memory of a friend or family member.
Every business donor making a one-time donation of $2,500* or more per donor year will have the benefit of creating a Bucks Ambassador Scholarship in the name of the business.
